Spooks

Abbie has demanded to be Ariel (The Little Mermaid) for a year. We gave in. She was a hit at every door. "Adorable", "What a cute Little Mermaid" and "Precious" were just a few of the compliments she received during the entire day. Must have been the hair, or maybe the spunk?

Lib wanted to be a pirate (Whew! I thought, we already had a cool pirate costume from Aspen a few years back). A few days before Halloween, she decided on Batman's arch nemesis, The Joker. Luckily DI had a purple graduation gown I resized to fit. Sewing skills come in handy for Halloween. We think she pulled off Joker quite well. "Why so serious?"

This is Miss America, 1917, who is now a dead but risen Zombie. Dress and earrings courtesy of DI and some lucky girl from the 1980's. The red stripper heals caused blisters at school all day, so we resigned to more comfortable footwear for trick or treating.

We trick or treat with Grandpa P each year, but this year he had a bum foot so we left him at home while Grandma came along with the crew, plus a happy NFL afro-sporting player.
