I was never sure if there would be a round 4. Now I find myself in the thick of pregnancy trying not to question out loud "What were you thinking?".
It's silly really, because if you minus all the vomiting, nausea and other not so lovely side effects, I think I can handle it and find myself thrilled for come what may.
Round 4 brings a different attitude about care and procedure:
No need for a pregnancy test, I'm already 99.9% positive I'm pregnant, by the puking alone...
This time I will not be finding out the sex until birth day. I'm holding out for my old fashioned surprise.
I refuse to see the Dr. 13 times during 10 months. Talk about dragging it out... the less the better in my opinion. Been there, done that- three times. Now, I want less intervention in something natural that has been occurring in females, forever. Mick does not hold my same sentiment.
Cravings will not be ignored. I plan to eat what I want, when I want. So far, I can't be without avocados, V8 juice, and white bread in any variety. Greasy beef taco's and tamales are also a few must haves.
I really don't want to have to take medicine for morning sickness. (Although I did cave to save my sanity)
Statistics say that we are 65% likely to be bringing home our forth daughter. I figure she is coming too. This pregnancy feels the same as its predecessors. The main difference is that I never used to like avocados. Who knew they were so tasty? If Grandma Perkins has any say in the matter of the 35%, she'll be helping to send down our next new spirit, likely a William. What a super old fashioned surprise that would be!
