What can I say, Disneyland really is the happiest most magical place on Earth. Rain and the need for ponchos on day one dampened the girls spirits just a tad, until we started on the rides. Or it may have been that during the long drive to California they heard "tomorrow is going to be the best day of your life". Word to the wise, let them figure that out for themselves instead of setting the bar so high. On a positive note, the girls were happy and had fun, and crowds didn't arrive until the rain subsided, so we were able to get through most of Fantasy Land and Tomorrow Land, see fairies, the parade, do some street dancing, see the fireworks- in person this time- and walk home carrying sleepy Abbie and pushing dead weight Liberty all before 10. An amazing feat!

Space Mountain- one of Aspen's favorite rides.

Abbie would be sent into freak-out mode before every tunnel. Storybook Land had teeth! Afterword, when seeing Mr. Whale- she would light up from toe to pointed finger tip. Fickle little lady!

Aspen was a sourpuss because she wanted her own car- I loved that her facial expression and mannerism matched that of Alice's caterpillar.

Nemo

Street party!
Dancing with Gepetto.

Mad Hatter

Monkey's in the monkey car.
Day two. Much of the same with a variety in places. Princesses, Toontown, Adventure land, Frontier land, Mickey and more rides. Yes, I get that there are a lot of pictures, but I really did narrow them down from 850. Really!

Train ride

Small world- sweet moose.

Abbie's friend she found in the Princess line. Thanks goodness for distraction.

Princess face paint and Goofy water

Mickey and Mickey ears.

Liberty's favorite ride- Toontown coaster.
Still feeling the magic at midnight after two rounds of splash mountain.
Day three: California Adventure and back to Disneyland for last chance favorites.

Ferris Wheel- Abbie loved it!
Mick didn't like the wind at that altitude.
I loved the view from the top.

Abbie's favorite activity to pass the line time: Dancing!
I'm feeling the magic through your pictures!! I really am a Disney Freak - LOVE THE PLACE!
ReplyDeleteI have to say that in all the years I have gone to Disneyland and Disneyworld I don't think I have ever seen Peter Pan and Tinkerbell where you could get a picture with them. So Awesome!
Fun! Magical! Happy!!! Love all the photos!
