Mick has his scope tomorrow. We are both a little nervous. So far, we have not had to undergo anything as medically serious as surgery in our years together. I believe everything will be fine though. I'm sure he'll hurt for a few good long days. I'm thankful I can take care of him. He always took such great care of me when I was pregnant and sick for 9 months. It's the least I could do.
When it rains it pours, and I now have two sick children as well. The next three days should be long and interesting. I'm planning for soup, soup and more soup. Running up and down stairs and to and from the kitchen. I should have my nursing degree by the time Sunday hits.
Wow. That is amazing that in 10 years you've never had to deal with surgery! Let's hope for 10 years in between each one, that would be a great track record! I hope all goes well for him and for you too as the caretaker! Good luck! We're praying for you.
