Tonight on the History Channel:

Mike Perkins (aka- my father-in-law) will be sharing one of his many harrowing Vietnam stories with his friend Ed. The show is entitled Sniper: Deadliest Missions airing at 6 and 10pm.

Tune in, you won't want to miss it. Mike is a fabulous story teller, retired Ranger, Paratrooper and Major who kept young men and himself alive during many tours in Vietnam with the US Army.

Besides, what woman doesn't want to cuddle on the couch with her hubby while he happily envisions himself vicariously escaping the Viet Cong while being pinned under a helicopter. Talk about romantic!

Or intense.

Nonetheless, a great history lesson about a forgotten, often hated war where so many men fought valiantly.
