Liberty was a little more reserved this performance, but she enjoyed herself nonetheless. Her 'itchy' outfit inhibited her attitude a bit. Aspen kept herself mentally focused by singing while dancing. She said singing helps her remember the moves. I smiled ear to ear watching her mouth move as much as the rest of her body.
Justin Bieber and the chipmunks made the music cut for choreography. Now on a daily basis, we listen to Justin and his prepubescent Michael Jackson-want-to-be voice singing "you smile, I smile" while Aspen gives us a kitchen rendition of her dance, singing in melody with Justin of course. The girls got rhythm and mad Google search skills!
Abbie insisted on donning her 'dan sing kirt' and shoes for viewing the big Review. Occasionally she would dance on laps or between the row of seats though she really wanted to be up on stage as she had done during dress rehearsal. She felt shafted sitting in the audience.

They did so good! We had fun watching them. I didn't know Aspen was dancing too. Are they going to dance again next year? Hallie is undecided.
ReplyDeleteThey look so cute all dressed up! I love it!
ReplyDeleteAspen, bless her heart- wants to do cheerleading. I hope to sign up Liberty for Ballet with Cache Civic Ballet. So, I'm not sure about Starsteppers.
ReplyDeleteThanks Kayce!
I remember my dance pictures when I was a kid...my mom put so much blue eyeshadow on me. it was awesome. I could have been a smurf. your kids look adorable.
ReplyDeleteps what is up with Justin Bieber??? not getting it. but that might be because Im almost 30.
Heidi- what I wouldn't give to see some smurf pictures.
ReplyDeleteMy girls love the make-up part of dance. Where they get these girly desires from, I will never know!
It's okay, your not missing anything about Justin. Almost 30 is better!
