Just entering Interstate 15 a half an hour from the house, Liberty says, “Are we in California mom?” "Yep, we're here!" I say wishfully. "Looks way different then Utah, doesn't it"?
Aspen: “We're in Layton already!” If she only knew how much time on the road would lie ahead.
“I hungwee”, repeated Abbie 20 times in the first hour of travel.
"Why is Disney Land so far away mom"? So we can have a vacation!
"How many more miles until California Dad"? "Read the green signs Aspen".
"How many more minutes until California Dad"? "Aspen... read the green sign, change the numbers to minutes and that is about how long".
"When are we going to get to California"? "We've been in California for two hours now Lib, remember the sign"?
