My sister-in-law Kala wrote a nice little blurb about me here. Part of her 25 days of Christmas. What a great idea, uh? She's smart! I want to copy it- on a less busier month of course. I'm proud of her for keeping it up each day in December, what with all the other STUFF!
Although her words were much appreciated, I wonder if she would have an entirely different opinion of me if she were a fly on my wall each day. I'm not all sweet- BELIEVE me! She forgot to mention that I have a short fuse, a big mouth, talk to much and well... the list could go on but since I'm learning to love myself, I'll be nice.
She does peg me quite well.
Her words lead me to wonder if the people we desire most to acknowledge our good qualities and characteristics, ever do?
Do you ever wonder?
Oh Jen, you ARE everything I said you are! My primary reason for the 25 days of Christmas is to focus on the positive, and ignore the flaws of others. It's been good for me to think happy thoughts about others! We all have faults, we all have bad days where we are not at 100%, but our weaknesses make us humble and human. You're a joy! As Josh says, "Jen is a peacemaker in a family of chaos"!
ReplyDeletewhat family isn't chaos?! You are awesome Jen. And the things you listed as flaws? I don't see them that way, I see those as strengths in you as well :)
ReplyDeleteI stopped by and read all about you - what fun! We visit Timp cave all the time, probably saw you there - LOL :)
ReplyDeleteKristin
Kala- I'm not sure what I do to be a peacemaker these days, but I'll take it. Maybe it's because I grew up in my own family of chaos. I've become good at adapting, I suppose.
ReplyDeleteThanks Tawna!
Kristen- We likely did run into one another. Love Timp!
