A few thoughts...

The complement of natural walnut with natural knotty alder makes me feel like sunshine.
Wood is soft, warm, grainy, durable, renewable and yet dangerously unpredictable and expensive in the desert. Enough reason to go with it.
Too many possibilities, not enough limitations.
I'll take my chances on grain patterns to have sunshine indoors.
Is it always necessary to incorporate cold, rustic metal with warmth to live comfortably?
I do not care for man made materials.
Do I want the light to shine up, or down?
Ambiance or practicality?
Eco-friendly is attractive in appliances.
Long term thinking throws out money.
Soft warm cushy feet is the first vital function in a good carpet.
Colors, hues, tones?
Bold or passive?
Speakers wired to the bathroom sounds lovely.
1/2 the space in exchange for two rooms is doable.
If the next two weeks is not the death of me, I must be meant to live forever.
