Lifes' Lessons Hot off the Press

Two lessons today. The rawness of the first story, absolutely floored me. I'm still contemplating what hell broke lose, and was it the woman or the man who let the levee burst? The lesson of the second is a good reminder, especially since I recently sent Mick off to work with his usual kiss and have a good day speech. Ladders scare me.

  • To the Editor,
Today I had some harsh words with a good looking woman at Sam's Club. I was waiting in line with a cooked chicken and I was hungry. The lady took too much time at the check-out register and I said to her that my chicken was getting cold. Then all hell broke lose. I learned something today. It's better to keep your mouth shut. -Allen Fox, Hyrum, Utah-

  1. Man, I hate Sam's Club. I actually love to shop there, but it does something to people's brains. Walmart too.
