When I pulled up to get Libby I lost it as she made her way out to the car. Happy tears of course! Libby was oblivious about this big change in life as she held teacher Melanie's hand like normal. Her teacher took one look at me and said, "Don't do that! You'll make me start"! We laughed as we exchanged our thank yous and off I drove for the last time with Libby the preschooler.
Dang it! I thought I would hold it together, oh well. Libby asked me why I was crying and I told her "because your getting so big and I want you to stay little Lib forever". The look she gave me read you are crazy mom.
Now...on to another adventure!
I love that smile of Libby's, it makes me so happy whenever I see it. That girl knows what pure joy feels like and is blessed to be able to share it with those around her. I'm grateful she's in our family!!

ReplyDeleteI saw your kids outside a couple of weeks ago and they were washing your truck and they told us that their dad made them do it. Haha, they were so cute.

Thanks ladies. I'm waiting for her to ask when she goes to school next, if it ever happens!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful pics, what a fun school! I figure if I never send Fischer to school, then he'll never have to graduate from it and that means he'll never grow up... right?
