Ignorance is Bliss! In the case of Brother Yarmulke, that is.
I took up the challenge and tried my hand at ignoring.
It was uncomfortable at first.
I had to act like I didn't see his hand protruding to the sky- not once but three times- but I soon felt comfortable as I began turning my nose down to my notes in an effort to find my next thought. It felt empowering.
What a nice, non stressful lesson experience.
I would gladly take more of these kind,
Even if my life does lack a good Brother Yarmulke story!
We have a laugher in our Sunday School. She is in wheelchair, and sits on the front row every week. Even at jokes that only deserve a chuckle, she belts it out in big "HA HA Ha's." It made me uncomfortable at first, and now I find it funny.
