So I figured out my scale is probably off by seven pounds (it's a cheap one and I hate it anyway). I have been weighed on a 'real' scale, I think, and that is the conclusion I've come too. However you want to look at it, I've lost either 30lbs, which sounds so much better, or 23, which, I swear I've lost more! Oh well, the inches don't lie, so I shall be using inches in measuring my success, until I reach my goal weight.
Thanks Mick for your honesty and getting me back on track. It is hard to accept, but thankfully appreciated. I love you.
I've been asked to go to Tampa Bay, Florida to help film the infomercial for PinK Fitness. I hope it's realistic for me to go. I want to. What a fun opportunity, and thoughts of warm sunny Florida just makes my skin tingle. I just want to make it worth my time and worth the child-care-peoples time (aka, grandma and Mick). We shall see. I'm working on getting some compensation, if you know what I mean. I should get paid for this, don't you think.
I'm curious to know everybody's opinion on this matter. Please comment on if you think I should ask to get paid for this little adventure.
More blogs are coming soon. I miss when I don't have a chance to write and divulge my life. Children are keeping me focused where I should be, I guess.
Are they paying for your flight, food, hotel? There should be some kind of flat fee in addition to all that for the time spent filming. That's my opinion anyway.
ReplyDeletebtw-my scale is about 7 pounds lighter than all the medical scales too, but I like that because then I feel thinner on my own scale!
I love that pic. of Mick and Libby. Too cute! yes, you should be getting paid for time away, and for you doing something to help them. It would be a lot of fun to go! Let me know how it goes!
