Good times with Libber lou.

Liberty woke-up later in the evening last night after falling asleep early. Apparently she was not out for the count as I had assumed. It was a beautiful warm September evening and I wanted to go enjoy the stars and sounds of darkness. As we were sitting on the floor I whispered in Libby's ear "Do you want to go look at the stars with me". She jumped up, quick as a mouse and said "Let's go look at stars", like she was pleased it was her idea.

We brought our pillows and blankets to lay on the tramp and watch the sky.
"Mom, look, that star is moving and it's red and blue"!

"Mom, why are some big and some little"?

"Can you hear the crickets Libby"?

"Mom, you hear that...I think it's an owl"?

"Libby, can you say constellation"?
"Conciliation".

"Mom, you took all the blanket"
"Sorry Lib, come cuddle with me it's getting cold"
"You want to jump mom"?

"Oh, a shooting star. I get to make a wish"!
"Where's a shooting star mom"?

"My wish is to be a princess with a crown...don't tell Dad, it's a secret".

"Pinkie Swear"!

  1. The letter the girls sent made me cry. I so needed it that day. I want to write them back, it will be soon. It's been crazy the past few days. I miss them so much, Jen.

  2. Well, we've been thinking of you Tawna, and know you've had a rough go. We hope to see you soon! Maybe tomorrow?
