New Perspective

Abbie reached a new milestone as I was moving my bed out of her room and organizing it to look like the nursery that I've envisioned it should be. Aspen and Liberty broke out the Lego's, and Abbie had a hay day! She was having fun watching Liberty make towers, and must have needed a new perspective, or wanted to knock it down. This got her up on two legs, and checking things out. I was glad to be able to capture this new found freedom before she fell, as she has not done it since then. She was very pleased with herself. Her room is so cute now, don't you agree. For those of you who have not see Abbie's quilt I made her- you can now see half of it hanging on the crib. It was fun to make and I was glad Ruthie was able to bind it for me, as it would have not looked so good if I had bound it. I've had the letters in her name for quite sometime, but just got them on the wall. Good thing, now I won't forget her name! Mom, remember this outfit. I'm glad you saved it all these years, she wears it well!

That is so awesome that you captured her "first" stand on film!!! Because of these 3 things, you win the Best Mom of the Day Award!!! Don't you love it when that happens?!!
