Fish Lake

We ventured to Fish Lake with the Perkins Clan this past week. Well, most of them. It was a great relaxing time. I loved having to wipe off the table only twice, doing very few dishes and having other people dying to tend to Abbie. What perks to vacationing! I would give anything for a few more days. Ruthie did an amazing job planning and implementing all the fun, and Mike kept the kids occupied for hours on the pontoon. Thanks so much for a fun trip you two! Could we go away for longer next time? It was nice to finally meet Mick's sister Lisa (next to him) and her husband Mack. They have two well behaved lovable boys- Malcolm and Quinn, that Mick and the girls and I loved spending time with. We wish they were our sons! Malcolm said to Mick before we left, "I love you Uncle Mick". It touched him and made quite an imprint on his heart.
Aspen and Liberty caught their first fish(es) on the trip. They loved reeling in those feisty little perch. Grandpa and Mack found the perfect perch hole and the adults could hardly keep up baiting the line of each child's pole! It was PERFECT for the kids to enjoy fishing! Here is Liberty's first catch! I'm sorry for the cinematography, no major motion picture will give me a chance to build upon my talent- imagine that!

We stopped by Provo on the way home and saw Great Grandma Rose, Great Grandma White, and Grandma and Grandpa Great. I'm thankful for the opportunity we have to have them in our children's' lives and wish we could see them all more. If we could have seen Great Grandma and Grandpa Perkins, we would have seen all the grandparents in 4 days! What a treat. Stay tuned for pictures from Comcast Lagoon Day with Grandma Brown.

  1. Good times, Good times, Such Good Times we had! I think your family photo worked out better than both of mine, because in each of mine either Jonah or Libby is holding their arm in front of their face! Thank goodness for multiple shots from multiple cameras! We had a terrific vacation with you all, and I look forward to doing it again!
