Comcast Lagoon Day

We had a great day with Grandma Brown at Lagoon. I even got to see my brother Jeff! He was given free tickets and came with Shauna and friends. It is always good to see him. He's such a hottie! Why is it that men seem to get the best hair, body,... whatever, you name it? If anyone has the answer to this most pressing question of mine. Please let me know. Anyhow, I'm glad somebody is so blessed with beauty. I wish I could spend more time with him. We used to despise each other as children, funny how being "grown-up" changes relationships. I love our late night phone conversations and being his sister. Secretly, I wish he was a girl, but I'll get my sisterly kicks where I can. Sorry Jeff! You know I love those characteristics in you.

When we ran into Jeff, mom and I went with him, Shauna and Suzi on the Rocket. It felt great to be shot up to the sky, but the bouncing effect on they way down, made me weak in the stomach and head. I had to stumble as fast as I could manage to meet back up with Mick and the girls, where I had to lie down on the cement curb. Never has a cement curb been so comfortable, even appealing! Shauna gave me a Dramamine and I could barely stand up or open my eyes for about 1 1/2 hours. After that- I was ready for more fun.

Aspen and Liberty were able to do most of the rides they wanted and had a great time. The ones we didn't pack into that day, will be written in at top priority for the next visit. The day was full of screams and giggles of true happiness. I love to hear that expression, especially in my children. That made every bad moment (nausea) worth it! True happiness- you know it when you hear it. It is by far the best sound you can hear. Fortunately, one doesn't have to search hard to hear it.

  1. Fun Photos! I can't believe you got so motion-sick, don't you hate getting old and all that comes with it? What great memories for your girls, it looks like you enjoyed yourselves!
