Our garden is actually growing and looking weed free this summer! Two points for that! We've already had yummy zucchini sauteed with red pepper flakes, a tasty side dish. I wanted to give you all an updated picture of how the garden has turned out. Mick worked very hard to finish it for me for my Birthday- Thanks honey, I love it! We are excited to try fresh strawberries next summer, as they will be more mature and producing. Strawberries remind Mick of an old childhood home, and his dad planting them. Sweet Memories. We hope to plant grape vines on the back fence in fall. A little more privacy from the asphalt.
Also included is a picture of Mick's rock wall. 7 years ago when we bought our house, he envisioned a wall in this exact place, it is finally a reality. I think is looks so perfect here. Right now, the soil is quite barren, we can't wait to get some more perennials planted so the beauty can spread next year. We spent a bit more money on the yard then anticipated, but it is serving it's purpose for fun and relaxation on summer days.
Who can resist beautiful Daisies and Tiger lilies! Here's some for your viewing enjoyment.
What beautiful photos and a great looking garden! I LOVE LOVE LOVE Tiger Lilies!!!
