Looks like we'll be headed to Fish Lake this summer for a get together with the Perkins Family. Mick's sister Lisa and her family are coming to Utah and Nevada from Virginia, for a desert get away. We couldn't be happier to be seeing Lisa. Mick has not seen her in more than 15 years, since 88', and I have never met her. It should be a real treat, and will most assuredly go by too quickly!
Fish Lake is such a great kept secret and I'm thrilled to be returning after so many years. I have fond memories of Fish Lake. My favorite- driving on a dirt road, with dad and I singing right along with Sunny and Cher , I got you babe.

A favorite. You might know it as well. Dad doesn't sing often, I think that's why I remember the moment. Such a free and happy time with dad and the wind blowing our hair.
It is a calm beautiful place. Highly recommended. I'll let you know how it all pans out.
Other summer trips-
1)Bear lake and Sunrise campground of course- no 5K this time, I have stopped running since my ankle sprain- ouch!
2)Lava hot springs- with some of the Brown's, we hope. We hear it's amazing, and the river float is superb!
3)To Provo- hopefully a few times and to camp up with the Brown Family at their property. Mick and I also want to take the older girls to my old place of employment- Timpanogos Cave NM.
4) To Lagoon a few times with the work forces.
Should be a fun summer, since I won't be puking my guts out. I deserve it after last year! Hooray that Abbie is here!
Do you guys want to carpool to Fish Lake? I'll talk to you more about it later! I'm also very excited for the trip! Did you know Josh and I are taking the 3 older boys to tour Timpanogos Cave this Sunday? We are going to visit Grandma in Pleasant Grove, and then tour the cave. I can't wait! Your summer plans look like a lot of fun! Isn't summer wonderful? It was great to read about your reminiscing of memories with your dad. Youth plus summer equals excellent memories to hold onto for years!!!
