For Love of Music

Have you checked out my music play list (bottom of the page)? That was such fun to create. I know, it's a mass confusion of genera, but I have many loves. For sometime now, I have wanted to find golden oldies music of my childhood. My parent's music. I found this website and had to call mom and dad. Dad, with the help of mom in the background, gave me the names of artists or groups and I found some winners! The Temptations, Bobby Darin, Tommy James and the Shondells, The Drifters, The Boxtops Chuck Berry. Dad was feeling so nostalgic, he got off the bed (a feat in itself) to look through his old vinyl records. My parents have a Juke- box from 19-who knows when, I can't wait to get my hands on those old 45's and see who sings all the songs of my youth. If you revel in the magical, easygoing, carefree music of the 50's, 60's, and 70's- pull up a listening ear. Begin with Roller Derby Queen and head south from there. Hope you enjoy as the memories come flooding back!

  2. Jonah and Micah LOVED watching Aspen and Libby dance! Those skirts are SOOO adorable! They looked so cute wearing their hawaiian outfits!
About the oldies music...Josh loves it too because of his parents listening to it all when he was growing up. Every New Years Eve, the local radio station does an oldies music trivia with prizes, and it's fun to listen to all that classic music from the 60s and 70s and try to win prizes guessing the answers to the trivia! Your music playlist is so fun and has a great mix!!!

  3. Where did Aspen learn those moves? Haha. I like that you're starting to add videos of the girls because I like knowing what silly things they're doing.
