My now four year old Libby never ceases to make me laugh as she is constantly saying "mom, member when I's a tiny kid, and I did (fill in blank here with what ever you could possibly imagine"?
Yesterday as she was eating a cheeto, it was "mom, member when I's a tiny kid and I eat my cheeto like this (please visualize cookie monster now)".
"Way back when you were a tiny kid, no way! I can't even remember that long ago", I said. "You must not be a tiny kid anymore"!
"Nope", she replied
Or a few months ago, when Abbie had a overflowing, smelly surprise in her diaper Libby said, "mom, member when I's a tiny kid and I had poops like that"?
What did she mean she had poops like that. I wanted to tell her, they are still like that, except
ten times worse! They are bigger, smellier and much more disgusting, now that your not a tiny kid anymore. I wish for that reason you still were a tiny kid.
At the park last week, she came running to me with her cute droopy arm run, that mind you, has not changed since she was a tiny kid, and said "mom, member when I's a tiny kid and I ran like this"?, as she made a silly face rolled her eyes back and fell down.
Oh Libby, what a comedian. I'm so thankful she makes me laugh- never a dull moment in our house with Liberty Lois being a not so tiny kid. Here is her newest-no longer a "tiny kid", picture.
Jen,
ReplyDeleteYour girls are adorable! It's so fun to read all about them. It's amazing how fast they grow. I can hardly believe it's possible for us to be old enough to be mothers of three. Crazy.
Heidi
I absolutely LOOOOVE the new picture of her!!!
ReplyDeleteJonah and Micah use the term "Remember when I was a baby, I did...." Isn't it so fun to be around children and their wonderful take on life?!! :)
ReplyDeleteJen,
ReplyDeleteI loved this blog. I laughed right out loud. Oh how I miss those darling girls of yours...even if they're not so little anymore.
Tabbi
So cute! I just want to hug her!
