Worn Out

Lately I've been so swollen that my toes look and feel like sausages. Even my favorite church shoes wouldn't fit today. Not a good sign.

Tomorrow is blood pressure and weight day. Slightly nervous for both. My blood pressure feels high and I'm hoping it's not too terribly high. 

I've had contractions off and on today. I think they are doing things. They feel more powerful than any previous Braxton-Hicks. My heart races, my breathing changes, and the baby moves with each tightening. Other parts seem to hurt too. Luckily the contractions have had irregular timing, but they do come frequently while laying down and have worn me out today.

This all makes me excited for the big day, and nervous at the same time. I don't want birth day to come too soon.

Talking and thinking about pregnancy and health this much really makes me feel and sound old. My hats off to women who birth in their 40's and 50's. I know I wouldn't live.
