Last year began a new tradition. Love bug boxes.
February, and these handy boxes, provide me an opportunity to remember why I love the four most important people in my life, and to share with them/show them why I love them.
Each day until Valentines, (although I have missed one already this year!), I spread the love bug. Leaving notes, homemade goodies, small gifts, inside each box; or giving service and leaving behind the box.
I know Aspen will love the small gifts and notes; Liberty, small gifts and goodies; Abbie strictly sugar, preferably the chocolate variety. Mick, he appreciates homemade goodies, anything marshmallow and service.
Ideas thus far:
Day one- oops, forgot! February came on quickly this year.
Day two- Valentine window clings for the ladies/notes of one reason why I love each of them, Marshmallow chocolate heart for Mick/verbal message of one reason why I love him.
Day three- heart shaped tin box with one solo heart shaped chocolate inside with a note reading- You hold my heart. For mick, heart shaped peeps with the same note.
Day four- Valentine ring-pops asking the ladies if they will be my Valentine. Mick- His favorite, peanut butter cookies, and I will try hard not to eat too many of them myself.
How do you spread the love bug?
I Love that tradition, may have to steel it and try it at our house!
