So long, Farwell.

Where did October go?

It seems while I was living, my favorite month flew by with the wind.

Thankfully I was able to get the mountains a few times for some crisp air and dropping leaves. Magic comes to the mountains in October and I crave it. The crunch of leaves, the smell of damp detritus. Nothing more pleasing to the eye then leaves at their peak of life. With a few weeks of Indian Summer, Aspen leaves lingered awhile on their branches, causing a golden glow atop Mt. Logan. Their display was beautiful this year.

Now snow is seen glowing on the Wellsvilles during my morning drive home.
SNOW!

Oh, the times they are a changing (Bob Dylan)

I don't know about you but all this cold sure makes me want to hibernate at least until noon each day.

Unfortunately my cubs would flunk out of school and starve if I buried beneath the blankets and refused to come out.

Bears and nature sure do have a good deal going on.

And yes, for the record, I'm totally jealous!
