How I had to wake up early after a bad nights sleep.
How I had to go to work with plans to run a few sprints only to be stuck using another crappy machine.
How said crappy machine was only as wide as my butt and is not meant for us "bigger" people (butts or no butts!), only the Chinese.
How I was forced to make lemonade out of lemons and run some on Mr. Crappy, because who knows when I'll ever get an opportunity to use a "normal machine". The competition is fierce every morning.
How my hands kept hitting the treadmills (enter curse word here) narrow arm rails several times, breaking some skin now and then.
And how I fell off the 2 inch (Chinese foot size) foot rail of Mr. Crappy, lived to realize why no one EVER attempts to run on said crappy, but got back on to sprint a few more times. Once again- making lemonade.
Why must my cake job frustrate me so much?
Luckily decompression came on my drive home. We all know a happy mom makes a happy home so I put on my best smile and walked through the door pleased to find my ladies up and dressed. I gave them snuggles, love and breakfast. The morning was getting better.
But as moods would have it, I had to take friends away from Aspen this week in an attempt to get her to understand and follow a simple direction... the first time. She pouted, refused to go to school and was therefore late.
Of course the school called because even though I make the children leave the house 15 minutes before school, and we live across the street and two houses around the corner- Aspen has SEVEN tardies! Liberty also has six. I sense another mean mom moment coming on for this already beautiful Monday.
On a positive note: the leaves are changing and I was cold enough this morning to need a bath to get warmed up. Or was I ornery enough to need one? It's up for debate, but the fact is I took one and a few minutes of warm peaceful bliss plus reading my favorite blogs cheered me up just in time for the confrontation that will take place in about an hour.
