Dialect

Give it your best shot by pronouncing these names in their native tongue.
HINT- think Hebrew.

Rehoboam
Jeroboam
Jehoshaphat

After your attempt, wish me luck saying these names a million times during my lesson on Sunday. As my studying stands thus far, I'm going to need some serious practice!

See if your guess was correct.

Translation:
Rehoboam= Rekh-ab-awm
Jeroboam= Yaw-rob-awm
Jehoshaphat= Yeh-ho-shaw-fawt

Should I just stick with the English translation?
Decisions, decisions.

  1. I say as the teacher assign someone else to read those scripture passages - Ha ha!
    Good luck and hope your lesson goes great!
