This year we had green waffles and milk.
Liberty said they were gross, Aspen told her they were good and then proceeded to only have two- TWO bites. Ah, the power of persuasion! Mick had none of the goods. Apparently he's averse to seeing green, yet another year. Surprise, surprise. Okay, so Mick actually had a company breakfast with real Irish food. You know, the non-green kind?
So when all the party poopers left for the morning, Abbie and I threw down green waffles and milk like they were white! Then we partied when the sun cast it's rays through the prism hanging from the kitchen window and produced the tiniest end of a rainbow right there on the kitchen floor. We considered ourselves the luckiest of leprechauns.
Who needs gold, or green clothes when you have indoor rainbows and bellies full of green?

Aspen had her friends over for a St. Patrick's Day shirt making party. Thanks to my friend Camie and her daughter Kia for the great idea.
This bunch of girls is so tight and so much fun. I enjoyed having them over to tear up the house and yard for an hour and a half.
Unfortunately the camera man did not get any pics of their shirts, except Aspen and Liberty. Next year we hope to do it again, slightly simplified and with less accessories. Kids can go crazy with puff paints, fabric glue and buttons. Crazy I warn you!
Cute pictures and ideas!! Love Abbie's long-ish hair!!
