Miss you
I'll miss you when the leaves fall,
When the trees stand tall and bare.
When summer greens fade away
To a crackly brown under layer.
I'll miss you as the air cools,
When wind whistles shrills and screams.
When winter thickens and quickens
To drop her snowy crystal flakes.
I'll miss you when the clouds cry,
When new life buds from violent freeze.
When tulips stretch their necks
To the sky with watery dreams.
I'll miss you when the sun shines warm,
When her iridescent rays slow time.
When evening flashes twinkling light
To the beat of days gone by.
