Blue Boy

As I walked Aspen near her school playground this morning she said "hey mom, do you see that little blue boy over there?" I glanced toward her pointing and noticed a cute little kid in his fluffy blue coat and blue jeans enjoying a quick play on the monkey bars before the morning bell.
"Ya, I see him", I chuckled.
"His name is Brady, he's little, but he's a first grader. Blayze ( a boy in Aspen's class) is little too. They are the littlest first graders".
I laughed to myself imagining the little blue smurfs I used to watch on Saturday morning as a kid. That little blue boy, I thought with a chuckle.
"What mom? What's so funny?"
