We ventured up to the canyon for family night this past Monday.
I
was amazed to find the beautiful colors of fall almost gone. I'm sad we didn't get up to the mountain in time to enjoy it more fully. Good thing fall arrives every year. I will learn from this years misfortune, and move quicker next fall. Thank goodness the trees are still waning in the valley.
Abbie loved the crunchy feel and noise of the leaves.
Aspen checked out a fire pit.
Liberty was a little nervous of the waterfall- which I made her stand by anyway.
Mick and I enjoyed an evening of fresh air and little noise, watching and playing with the kids.
Soon enough- it was time to head home!
What a great FHE! The seasons have been so weird this year, such a short spring, such a late summer, such a short fall. I'm glad you got to partake of the some of the beautiness before all the leaves dropped!
