Aggie Pride

Mick is reeling from the lovely Aggie victory yesterday. Utah state 42. Idaho 17. It was fun to see them finally win a game. I wish I could predict how long the euphoria will last. Unfortunately we are playing BYU in two weeks. I'm certain the sweet taste of victory will turn sour as BYU kills us! It would be fun to see them packing with a loss, though I'm sure the Aggies will be hanging their heads low after the brave fight. All we can do is cheer. GO AGGIES!

Mom, Dad and cousin Carson came up for the big hoorah. It was Ag(agriculture) day and the feast was delicious at the BBQ. My favorites- Utah Truffles(delectable- I think I ate eight, possibly more), Utah pork(savory and cooked to perfection), oh and Utah Daffodil bulbs(I'm excited to plant my free bulbs). Aspen, Liberty and Carson enjoyed having their faces painted and winning a free (Nerf) football courtesy of the Macey's tailgate ball throw.

Mom and dad even helped me can some tomatoes this weekend. Now on to peaches. Isn't the bounty of Harvest great? Especially with extra help! Thanks mom and dad for all the help! Happy Harvesting to you and yours!

  1. Abbie is growing up too fast. She'll be running before I see her next. I don't think I need the box spring because I like the bed where it is, and how high it is right now. But thanks. It is a good size for me.

  2. Sorry, I didn't read your other comment until now. Brian is just my really good friend. We hang out a lot and we have a lot of inside jokes.

  3. I've got a few dozen tomatoes that need to be consumed. Any great recipe ideas? Besides salsa and BLTs-that's about all I've done with them so far.

  4. Annie,
You should can some stewed tomatoes. I put them in anything calling for tomatoes. It is so nice to have fresh tomatoes in the winter- Yummy
